A 19-year-old student was stabbed to death in Manchester on Wednesday night.
The man was killed in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the popular student area of Fallowfield. Officers from Greater Manchester Police gave him CPR but he died later in hospital. The victim has not been named, but his next of kin have been informed and are now being supported by officers.
Detective Superintendent Neil Jones said that officers are "working round the clock" to work out what happened and catch the killer.
"This was a terrible crime which has robbed a young man of his life, and my thoughts are with his family at this devastating time," he added....
